Partnerships

Check out partnerships/ ownerships at the Camera Municipal or within the information about the Cadastro Predial. Make enquiries about this if you are setting up a business or buying a dwelling with someone else. The law is different in Cape Verde.

Ask about each partners legal rights, what if one partner wants to leave, one wants to sell, if one partner dies!

Look into having a legal contract drawn up, but also find out your rights under Cape Verde law. You should also perhaps consider making a Cape Verdean Will.
