About Yellow-E-Business

Within the Cape Verde Tips Yellow Business directory, you will find some links classified adverts to Cape Verde Hotels, Restaurants, Water Sports, Tour Operators, Furniture Suppliers and information about developments or properties for sale or rent via the links. We are in the process of developing this section and it's mainly for businesses, services and organisations on Sal Island. We are concentrating on the services we offer and on those who wish to make a paid advertisement on this site, while slowly developing this section.

All the links to different categories are found on the right of the page, to make it easy for you to find what you are looking for, whether its water sports, excursions, fishing, land activities, yoga, furniture suppliers, beach front property to rent or buy and much more.

Water Sports Activities

There are a number of Water Sports centres which hire out jet ski's, or where you can hire a kiteboard, stand up paddle board, windsurf board and scuba diving equipment. Scuba diving is popular here in Cape Verde as an all year round activity whereas the wind and kite surfing activities drop off in the summer as there is less wind.

Tours - Travel - Trips

You can travel around the islands, on a day trip or spend a few days travelling. There are a number of tour Operators or inter island flights that visit a number of islands that have airports.

Car or Vehicle Hire

There are a number of car hire and rental companies on the islands. There are others that rent out mountain bikes, electric bikes, Segways or other forms of transport.

Furniture Suppliers

You may choose to purchase items of furniture or furniture packs, some furniture suppliers offer both, others just some items for the home.

Home Accessories

If you need some things for the home, there may be more shops that sell home accessories on some islands than others. Quality and safety standards are something you will need to become familiar with when buying items for the home.

Shops and Goods

Again quality and safety especially for electrical goods will differ. There are many 'Chinese Shops' selling imported goods from China. Some sell household goods, food and beverages.

Property Sales

There are a number of Property Sales Agencies on the islands selling re-sale property. There are a number of Developers selling direct to the public or through sales agents in other countries.

Although some of the properties you may see in the Santa Maria area on Sal or Sal Rei on the island of Boavista may look unfinished, there are some great developments that have been completed or nearly completed on Sal Island with plans for more and a few in the planning stage on the island of Boavista.

Property Rental

Whether looking to rent out your own property or visiting the islands and wanting to rent for short tem lets or long term lets, you will find a number of agencies offering this service.

Property Services

If you are looking for certain services such as Snagging for your property or you require a Water Filter so that you don't need to keep carrying 5ltr containers to your property, you can find these under 'Property Services'. If you are abroad and need someone to organise utility connection you will find these here too. There are Property Management Agencies who may already have the contract to manage your development or building, you may need to make inquiries about their charges etc.

Restaurants and Bars

There are some restaurants listed here too with great food, some with fantastic sea views and others that are found within the main areas of the town. Some of smaller less populated islands may not have many restaurants and a great menu choice but if you like fish they will have a few options available.

Hotels and Guest Houses

The range of hotels, resorts, pensions, pensao's, guest houses will differ on all islands. We provide some links within the pages and more information on Island Pages.

Business Opportunities

You can advertise and let people know of a business opportunity that you have available in Cape Verde, there are people looking for established businesses, or new opportunities on a number of the islands.

Embassies and Consuls

There are a number of Embassies in Cape Verde and Consulates, but not for all countries, The British Embassy to Cape Verde for example is situated in Dakar, Senegal. There is one British Honorary Consul in Cape Verde who is based on the island of Sal.
